Classic Pickle Relish Recipes

Fed Up Food's Classic Pickle Relish is great as a topping for a brat, on a burger, or as a replacement in any recipe that calls for pickle relish.

This flavorful relish leans on the spicy-dilly side over sweet and uses fresh, organic, Wisconsin cucumbers, garlic, onions, jalapeños, and herbs.

Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs
2 Tbsp. Mayo
2 Tbsp. Fed Up Foods Classic Pickle Relish
1/2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1/2 Tbsp. Minced Yellow Onion
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/8 Tsp. Black pepper
1/4 Tsp. Paprika and a few dashes for on top

 

Directions:

  1. Make your boiled eggs. I put the eggs in a sauce pan (with 1 inch of water covering the eggs) once the water is boiling for 6 mins, remove from heat and cover for 6 min.
  2. Rinse immediately with cool water and peel eggs.
  3. Slice eggs in half and remove yolks into medium size bowl.
  4. Add the rest of your ingredients and mash together with a fork.
  5. Once smooth, put yolk mixture into plastic bag and cut off the tip (or use a piping bag).
  6. Squeeze yolk mixture into boiled egg halves.
  7. Sprinkle paprika on top and serve immediately or refrigerate and eat within 3 days.

1000 Island Dressing

Great as a salad dressing or on top of a burger

Ingredients:
1 C. Mayonnaise
3 TBSP. Catsup
2 TBSP. Fed Up Foods Classic Pickle Relish
1 Tsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 TSp. Paprika
1/4 Tsp. Salt

 

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium Sized Bowl, Mix until well combined.
  2. Transfer to a jar or cover and store in fridge until needed.
  3. Stores up to 14 days in fridge, always use clean utensil for spreading.

 **TIP: Best to let sit for a day to allow flavors to meld.

Serving size: 16

 

Tartar Sauce

Great as a topping for fish or potatoes

Ingredients:

1 C. Mayonnaise
1/4 C. Yellow Onion (minced)
1 Jar Fed Up Foods Classic Pickle Relish
1 Tsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
1 TSp. Sugar (optional)
1 Tbsp. Fresh Dill (minced) (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium Sized Bowl.
  2. Once Combined, Refrigerate for 1-2 Hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Transfer to a jar or cover and store in fridge for up to 14 days. 

**TIP: Best to let sit for a day to allow flavors to meld and onions to soften.
