Maple Ginger Pickled Beet Recipes - Bacon Lettuce Beet Sandwich

 

Bacon Lettuce Beet Sandwich (B.L.B.) 

This is a simple way to enjoy Fed Up Food's Maple Ginger Pickled Beet, If vegetarian, this sandwich is amazing with hummus instead of bacon. If vegan, remove cheese, mayo, and bacon, add hummus, dijon mustard, and more veggies! 

 Ingredients:

2-3 slices of crispy Bacon
2 leaves of Lettuce or a handful of microgreens
3-4 slices of Maple Ginger Beet (dependent on size)
1 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
2 slices of bread (slightly toasted) Or a buttery Croissant like pictured above!
2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Spread Mayonnaise on 1 side of each slice of bread.
  2. put the rest of the ingredients between the two slices of bread.
  3. Enjoy!
